WHAT’S TO LOVE ABOUT HOTEL ARYA | COCONUT GROVE
Formerly known as The Sonesta, Hotel Arya is a condo-hotel built in 2001 and located at 2889 McFarlane Road in the heart of Coconut Grove. In 2018, Sonesta Hotels Corporation sold the building to a Nevada-based company that renamed it, Hotel Arya. With 211 condo units on 22 floors, the building offers resort-style amenities including a spectacular rooftop pool with views of Biscayne Bay, fitness center, restaurant, bar, valet parking, and concierge. Residences range from 1 to 4 bedroom units.
Arya appeals to both full-time and part-time residents. Some owners choose to place their units in the hotel’s rental program which provides income when the unit is vacant without the hassle of managing short-term tenants. This is a great option for snowbirds who come down in the winter but leave their property empty during the summer months. Over the years, many owners have also decided to use VRBO, Airbnb, and HomeAway to rent out their units for short or long-term stays.
