I am born and raised in Miami, Fl. At the early age of six, my brother David and my father Torgny introduced me to the game of golf while having the full support of my mother Karin as well as my sister Anna. I quickly learned that I have a passion for the game of golf and it was something that I wanted to pursue. By the time I had graduated high school, I had worked hard enough to be awarded a Scholarship to Barry University (In Miami). I graduated with a major in Sports Management and a minor in Business Marketing. During my time at Barry, under the coaching umbrella of Jimmy Stobs we won two National championships. Upon leaving college I turned professional at the age of 21 and had a short stint on the professional tour before I began caddying on the PGA Tour in 2013 for Erik Compton. My caddying came to a peak in the summer of 2014 where Erik and I finished 2nd at the United States Open at Pinehurst No. 2, losing to Martin Kaymer. I continued caddying for Erik for the next 3 1/2 years and partaking in over 95 PGA Tour events and 5 majors, including the 2015 Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. In 2016, I began working for my father's kitchen and cabinet company, Scandinavian Design House located here in Miami. Scandinavian Design House was a cabinet company my father brought to America from Goteborg, Sweden in 1984. Goteborg is also where my father met his Wife Karin and raised my brother David and sister Anna. When I joined the company in 2016, I was under the constant tutelage of my father and my sister who also worked there as a designer. I quickly excelled and before I knew it I was selling kitchens, entertainment units, closets, bars and vanities. Not only was I selling them, I was learning how to build them as well as install them in multi-million dollar homes. Now, we get to where I am now, here at The Riley Smith Group. Throughout the dozens and dozens of installations and deliveries I was doing for these homes, I couldn't help but notice how many "For Sale" signs there were in the neighborhoods. I always believed that I could add value to the Real Estate business by assisting sellers, buyers and investors in their ventures. After obtaining my Real Estate license and being interviewed by numerous agencies around town, it became apparent to me very quickly that the team here at Compass, The Riley Smith Group was my pathway to be able to assist people in their selling, buying and investing of real estate.
